International Tiger Day - 29th July

                                                         Only 1411 tigers left.

International Tiger Day, also known as Global Tiger Day, is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger conservation, held annually on 29 July. The goal of the day is to promote a global system for protecting the natural habitats of tigers and to raise public awareness and support for tiger conservation issues.

One tiger needs to eat the equivalent of a medium size deer every week to survive and without adequate food, the tiger population declines very fast. Too many forests of Asia are classed as ‘empty forests” – the trees are there but the animals are gone. Anti-poaching efforts therefore must be targeted at protecting both the tiger and its prey.

The illegal poaching of tigers for their parts and destruction of their habitat through destruction and buffer zone
encroachment are the biggest challenges faced in the fight to save our Tigers

Poachers very often focus on tiger prey rather than tigers themselves. Prey animals are sought by local poachers to supply the local food market. Many of these prey species are also highly endangered and often neglected by conservation efforts. Yet, they can also benefit from the extra protection given to the tiger.

As major part of Land is occupied for construction and agriculture, then half is covered form sea only left some of the Land is for animals.we have crossed our boundaries and cut down major forest areas and we want our lives to be settled in big buildings and apartments.

Decresaing numbers in tigers population has made a serious challenge for their survival.Conservation is needed for tigers so that national reserves will come forwards and safegaurd their natural habitat.

Major problem in todays world is no body want to save others as their time is reserved for growth and increments in their daliy life.Think about others so that this world can become a peaceful place to live

Today the world is developed with powerful technology so you can use the many techniques to save the tigers in the world like sms, blogs, articles, advertisement. This process becomes one of the most effective steps to give sound to the whole world for saving tiger life.

Ways to preserve Tigers can be:

1. Plant more trees.
2. Conserve Rain Waters interms of rain water harvesting.
3. Preserve forest areas and human beings not to enter forest.
4. Control Pollution and population.
5. Try to save food and do not waste as food is major problem of land convertion into.
6. Stop mining.
7. By reducing the use of products derived from forests, such as timber and paper.
